PAMELASTYLE RECEIVES TWO AWARDS IN COMPETITION

Window Fashions Magazine, and Grace McNamara, Inc. recently announced the winners of this year's international ENVISION DESIGN COMPETITION 2004. Pam Sorensen, of "Pamelastyle", Watertown, CT will be awarded the following at the International Window Expo, Baltimore, MD on April 15, 2004:

First Place, "Whole Room Integration". This category is for total room design, not just window treatment. Pam entered the fireplaced formal study from the Country Hill model home, Middletown, CT.

Second Place, "Combination Treatments". This category is for integrating both soft and hard window coverings, in this case; Silhouette shadings from Hunter Douglas, combined with pale yellow Murphy valances above. This was also from the Country Hill model, in the formal dining room.

PAMELASTYLE EARNS INDUSTRY CERTIFICATION

Pam Sorensen of "Pamelastyle", Watertown, CT has become an Associate member of the Window Fashions Certification Program.

WFCP was founded in 1991 in response to the need for a specialized training
and development program, aimed at increasing the standards of professionalism in the industry of window coverings. This comprehensive
continuing ed. and accreditation program is for interior designers, workroom
and installation professionals. The program provides a higher level of
expertise in the window coverings industry. Credits are given in all
aspects: business, design, workroom know-how, installation, wallcovering,
technology and personal development.

Pam will test for the next level, Specialist, in April 2004.
